The real-time strategy game League of Legends is a further development of the popular Warcraft 3 map Defence of the Ancients. In two teams of up to five players, you play against each other to destroy the opponent base. You take control of one of over 90 different heroes, who have a lot of influence in the game. League of Legends offers DotA fans action-packed battles, whether in single-player mode against the computer or in multiplayer mode against other teams.

From the popular Warcraft 3 map DotA, there are now several independent offshoots. League of Legends is one of the best and most elaborate further developments of the classic Blizzard. The game is specially designed for very active team battles, emphasising the abilities of over 90 heroes and their weapons. These are free of charge as part of the weekly rotation. This ensures a varied and lasting playing pleasure. All other heroes can be unlocked via paid Ingame purchases and are then permanently available.

Another new feature compared to DotA is the Summoner whose abilities can be improved over several games and matched to specific heroes. On the three different cards, you can play against the computer-controlled opponents in single-player mode. The multiplayer mode allows you to play two teams over the Internet or local network against each other. The very active community around League of Legends regularly develops new proposals, which are integrated into close cooperation with the developers.
